Virtual Non-Assistants

Following my efforts in researching virtual assistants for Miss, I was very pleased with myself. I thought I had done quite a good job in short listing firms that looked promising. I then wrote a document with reviews and recommendations for each of these firms. Miss was pretty impressed by the initial report and that made me very happy...as it always does when she is pleased with my work.

This unfortunately did not last very long. Miss made contact with the companies I had recommended and was quickly disappointed with the lack of promptness in their communication. Naturally I felt partially responsible as it was I that recommended them. Miss called me to let me know of her frustration. She never directly blamed me but I couldn't help but feel that she thought I could have done a better job.

After hearing of her experience I felt very disappointed for letting her down...even though I am not sure if I could have done any better given a second chance. Instead of being a time saver this whole exercise actually cost her a lot of her precious time. So I decided to offer my help in making the first contact with the companies on her behalf. This would atleast save her the time and trouble of filling out contact forms.

With this effort I hope to make up to her.
